Thursday, November 19, 2009

Los Angeles Police Department detectives are looking for two teenagers accused of kidnapping a man in Koreatown and forcing him to withdraw money from his ATM.

Investigators say the suspects attacked a man on Wilshire and Harvard boulevards on Nov. 2. According to police, one teen demanded the victim's wallet and the other punched him in the face. They then threatened to kill him if he didn't withdraw money.

After handing over the cash, the victim ran away.

The suspects are described as Korean males, between 16 and 18 years old. One suspect is said to be 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 150 pounds, with close-cropped hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black and white shoes.

The second suspect is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds. He was wearing a black cap, a white T-shirt, red-and-white-checkered shorts and red sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to call LAPD detectives at (213) 382-9460.
