WATTS, Calif. (KABC) -- A 70-year-old woman was struck and killed Friday by a northbound Metro Blue Line train in Watts.
Paramedics were sent to 11528 S. Wilmington Ave. near 115th Street just before 1:15 p.m.
The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The L.A. City and L.A. County fire departments, as well as the LAPD and L.A. County Sheriff's Department, were on scene.
