The President of USC is warning students about the dangers of raves.

C.L. Max Nikias sent an email to the student body, urging them not attend rave parties because of the dangers of ecstasy.

17 people were taken to the hospital after a rave near USC on New Year's Eve. Last summer, a 15-year-old girl died after the Electric Daisy Carnival at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
