MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- Investigators are searching for the person who killed an elderly woman in her home before stealing jewelry and a luxury purse.
Authorities said 82-year-old Xiyong Yong Huang was strangled to death inside her Monterey Park home at Huntington and Garcelon avenues.
Deputies are asking pawn shops to be on the lookout for the stolen items and to call authorities if they see them.
