Small plane crashes near Pomona Fairgrounds

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A small plane crashed near the Pomona Fairgrounds on Friday, killing at least one person on board.

Authorities say the single-engine Mooney M20 crashed about 1 mile southeast of Brackett Field at about 2:15 p.m.

First responders say there was at least one fatality aboard the plane that was inbound to Brackett. No one on the ground was injured.

The cause of the plane crash has not been determined.
