Fire erupts at commercial building in El Sereno

EL SERENO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A major fire erupted at a commercial building in El Sereno Friday morning.

Crews responded to the building on the 5300 block of East Valley Boulevard around 1:30 a.m.

It took 180 firefighters nearly two hours to bring the massive blaze under control.

Fire officials described the fire as mostly involving equipment outside the main building. It's unclear what type of business it was.

No injuries were immediately reported.
