MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Two robbery suspects believed to be armed barricaded themselves in a Pier 1 Imports store in Manhattan Beach on Sunday night.
Police said the attempted robbery at the store in a strip mall in the 1800 block of Rosecrans Avenue started just after 7 p.m. By 10:40 p.m., the suspects were in police custody.
Authorities said there were no hostages during the incident and no one was injured. Several streets were closed in the area.
The SWAT team was dispatched to the scene.
