SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities are warning women in the Santa Monica area to be on the lookout for a sexual predator who is using a bike to commit his crimes.
The first incident was in January when the man attacked a woman in the area of Franklin Street and Santa Monica Boulevard. Since then, there have been five additional similar incidents in close proximity.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium-to-heavy build and straight, slicked-backed black hair.
Each time, the suspect was riding a bicycle, which was described only as a mountain bike.
If you have any information about these incidents, you're urged to contact the Santa Monica Police Department.
