Car crashes into pool outside La Puente home

  

LA PUENTE, Calif. (KABC) -- The driver of a Lexus rammed through a wall and crashed into a pool outside a La Puente home on Sunday.

The incident happened on Barry Dale Street. A silver Lexus crashed through a wall surrounding the home and ended up all the way under water. The driver of the Lexus was charged with driving under the influence.

La Puente resident Beatriz Diaz sent in photos to Eyewitness News.

The car has since been lifted out. Police are still investigating what happened.
