SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KABC) -- A portion of California Avenue in Santa Monica was closed Friday afternoon due to a police search for a burglary suspect.
The incident began with a 911 call to the Santa Monica police about two men who entered someone's home in the area between Third and Fifth streets. Following the call, both suspects fled from the home and there was a chase involving Santa Monica police.
They managed to arrest one of the suspects and used a dog to look for the second. California remained shut between Third and Fifth streets as the search continued.
