Man shot at accident scene dies at hospital

MAYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Sheriff's deputies found a man shot in Maywood at the scene of a traffic collision Thursday morning.

Homicide investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. were summoned to the intersection of 52nd Street and Atlantic Blvd. in Maywood at 12:28 a.m. Thursday.

A man was found with a gunshot wound there. He was taken to St. Francis Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was described as a Hispanic male in his 30s.

There was no suspect description.
