Westchester apartment shooting: person detained for questioning

WESTCHESTER, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police have detained one person in connection to a deadly shooting at a Westchester apartment complex.
Two people were killed and one was injured in the shooting that happened Thursday night at the Alessio Apartment Homes on Centinela Avenue near Jefferson Boulevard.
Police said there was some kind of argument inside one of the buildings before three men were shot. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene and another victim died at a hospital.
A handgun was recovered at the crime scene. Police have questioned the person who was detained, but they did not release any more information.
