Jackknifed big rig blocks lanes on 60 West

MONTEBELLO, Calif. (KABC) -- A jackknifed big rig blocked lanes on the westbound 60 Freeway at Wilcox Avenue in the Montebello area on Thursday.

The accident was reported at about 3:45 p.m. A SigAlert was issued for the three right lanes.

At about 4:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol opened up another lane to traffic, and then at 5:40 p.m., another lane was opened. Only one lane remains closed at this time.
