LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Beloved Eyewitness News family member and talented photographer Artie Williams III has died.
It was confirmed late Saturday night that Artie died while diving in the waters off Catalina Island on Saturday. The exact cause of death is not yet known.
Artie was a longtime member of Eyewitness News and loved his job. His big smile and bigger heart were a part of what made it so special to work with him.
Funeral arrangements are still pending. Our deepest condolences go out to Artie's family and to his ABC7 family as well.
