BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are hunting for a lone burglary suspect who they say hit eight stores in Beverly Hills overnight.
Police say the suspect broke into six shops at a strip mall near Olympic Boulevard and Oakhurst Drive and two stores on Wilshire Boulevard near Carson Road, smashing windows and glass doors. Officers were alerted after an alarm went off.
According to Beverly Hills police, surveillance video shows the suspect going straight for the cash registers. It is unclear how much cash was taken during the spree. A bakery, a dry cleaner and a flower shop were among the businesses targeted.
So far, no one has been arrested. Anyone with information is asked to call Beverly Hills police at (310) 285-2125.
