Lancaster hit-and-run driver sought by police

A search is under way for a driver behind a hit-and-run that injured a female pedestrian in Lancaster Tuesday.

The crash occurred at about 7:43 p.m. on Avenue L.

The victim was crossing the street when she was hit by an unknown type of vehicle traveling eastbound on Avenue L.

The suspect did not stop and was last seen fleeing eastbound.

The unidentified victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
