Gardena UPS store robbery surveillance released

Thursday, March 28, 2013

Gardena police hope new surveillance video of a robbery at a UPS store in Gardena will help track down the culprits.

The surveillance video from the March 4 robbery shows two men. One pulls out what looks like a gun and points it at customers inside the store, located at 15507 S. Normandie Ave. near Redondo Beach Boulevard.

Police say the suspects stole money and property from three customers. Investigators say one of the men may have been involved in another robbery in December.

Authorities hope the video will help identify the suspects. The suspects were described to be in their late 20s, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing between 190 and 200 pounds. Both were wearing dark clothing, including hooded sweatshirts.
