ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) -- It was an all-out rescue in Arcadia overnight when a kitten was found trapped inside the engine of a car.
A group in a vehicle was heading along Duarte Road when they heard a screaming sound coming from the engine. They pulled over and realized there was a kitten trapped inside.
A police officer and a tow truck responded. After more than an hour, the kitten jumped on the wheel and made a run for it, but the officer was faster.
The kitten was then taken to the police station and turned over to animal control.
