Glendale police seek Americana kiosk burglars

Police are asking the public to help find a man and a woman suspected of burglarizing two food kiosks at the Americana at Brand in Glendale on July 28.

The suspects were caught in action by surveillance cameras around 4:20 a.m.

Police say the man turned the cash register screen and lowered himself through the window. He temporarily knocked himself unconscious after hitting his head on the floor but shortly exited back through the window.

Authorities say one kiosk lost $980. There was no loss at the second kiosk struck.

The male suspect was described as a man between 19 and 23 years old, standing around 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has shaggy brown hair.

The female suspect appeared to be between 17 and 23 years old, standing around 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds.
