O.C. commuters must pay more to ride bus

  

Bad news now for commuters in Orange County: They'll soon be paying more to ride the bus.

Fares on Orange County Transportation Authority buses are going up, starting January 4.

Regular fares will go from a $1.25 to $1.50. Day passes will rise to $4 and seven-day passes will be $20.

Seniors will also see an increase. Fares will be $0.60, and senior day passes will go from $1 to $1.25.
