LA HABRA, Calif. (KABC) -- The mother of the octuplets, Nadya Suleman, has fired the nonprofit group of nurses helping to care for her children. Four of Suleman's newborn octuplets are home, along with Suleman's six older kids.
Nadya Suleman arrived home Monday afternoon, driving up in a minivan. Eyewitness News asked her why she fired this group of nurses and she had no comment, but her attorney did confirm earlier Monday that the group Angels In Waiting was indeed let go.
Angels In Waiting had been training nannies who were to help Suleman care for her eight newborns and her six other children.
Suleman's attorney, Jeff Czech, said that the nurses were fired because one of them filed a report with Child Protective Services against Suleman. One of the nurses was apparently concerned with the amount of people who were living in Suleman's La Habra home.
Two of the octuplets came home to a throng of photographers last week. Two other octuplets came home over the weekend, while the other four remain hospitalized.
Attorney Gloria Allred represents Angels In Waiting, and she says she had no immediate comment, but plans to hold a news conference Tuesday. "The truth will come out tomorrow," said Allred.
