NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A music teacher at Serrano Intermediate School in Lake Forest was arraigned Thursday for exposing himself to two women.
Mark Gerard Petrash, 42, is from Lake Forest and is charged with two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment. If convicted, he could serve up to two years in jail.
Petrash is accused of exposing himself to a receptionist at an orthodontist's office in August, where his son had an appointment. Petrash was arrested after the receptionist reported the incident to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
After seeing media coverage, a fellow teacher came forward, saying a similar incident happened to her. She says Petrash trapped her in a bathroom stall and exposed and rubbed himself while they were attending a Saddleback Valley Unified School District event last May.
In addition to working at Serrano Intermediate School, Orange County officials say the defendant also worked at Mission Viejo High School.
Anyone who has more information, or who believes they have been a victim is urged to call the Orange County Supervising District Attorney Investigator at (714) 834-7538.
