Year's 1st OC case of West Nile Virus reported

A Buena Park man in his 50s is the first human case of West Nile Virus in Orange County this year.

The man was admitted to the hospital in mid-August and remains hospitalized.

West Mile Virus is transmitted to people and animals through the bite of an infected mosquito.
