Transient fatally stabbed on Santa Ana River Trail

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- An apparent murder is being investigated in Anaheim. A man's body was found along the Santa Ana River Trail, just south of the 91 Freeway near Tustin Avenue.

Police say the victim is a transient and had multiple stab wounds.

The body was found early Wednesday morning by people exercising along the trail.

The victim's identity was not released. Police did not say if there were suspects in the murder.
