Laguna Beach jewelry store heist: Serial burglary suspect arrested

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Laguna Beach investigators said they arrested an Orange County serial burglary suspect on Thursday.

Jeffrey Stark, 51, was booked on four burglary counts, one stemming from a heist last Saturday at a Laguna Beach jewelry store. It was one of several hits in the past few weeks.

Officials said some stolen items were found at Stark's Corona Del Mar home. Authorities credit DNA evidence and surveillance video for his arrest.

Investigators anticipate that Newport Beach police will add additional charges.
