Huntington Beach stabbing leaves man dead

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A 32-year-old man was killed in a stabbing in Huntington Beach. A suspect has been arrested, police said.

Officers were called to the 7800 block of Newman Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found the stabbing victim, identified as Michael Vito Urso of Huntington Beach. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A man identified as the victim's acquaintance was taken into custody. After questioning, 22-year-old Alexandre Louis Antal of Huntington Beach was arrested and booked at the Huntington Beach Jail for murder.

Police say the murder weapon has been recovered.
