GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- Two would-be robbers are on the run after they tried to hold up a jewelry store on the 9800 block of Garden Grove Boulevard.
The owner was alone in the C and S Masterpiece store at about 3 p.m. on Wednesday when two men entered, talking about a piece of jewelry they brought with them. The store owner, who did not want to be identified, said one of those men then produced a stun gun.
"Suddenly, one guy produced a Taser gun, or something electric or something like that, and he tried to Taser my neck and then I ran inside and push my emergency button," he described.
The store owner was able to push the button in that back office and armed himself with a golf club. The two men ran off without taking any jewelry.
