SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- The search for a gunman continues near First and Euclid streets in Santa Ana after an undercover police vehicle was hit by gunfire.

Garden Grove police were investigating a possible burglary suspect just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.

They drove by a house with several men in front when they heard gunshots. One bullet struck their vehicle, but no one was hurt.

Police thought they had the suspects, but it turned out the men they stopped also thought they were being shot at.
