Local boy w/ leukemia fights crime with Anaheim police, Batman
Tuesday, October 01, 2013
ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- It was a special treat for a local 7-year-old battling leukemia. Alex loves all things Batman, so the Anaheim Police Department lit the bat signal and asked for his help.
Alex got to spend the day in his Robin suit, fighting crime alongside Batman and the police chief.
The superheroes were keeping an eye out for the Riddler, who was said to have escaped from the Orange County jail.
Alex searched for the Riddler at Knott's Berry Farm and Angel Stadium, but his day ended with a special dinner in his honor. It was all part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
