OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- A man and his two young daughters were injured in a head-on car crash in Oxnard Thursday evening, police said.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. at Fifth Street and Harbor Boulevard. The 52-year-old father was driving a Toyota Prius northbound on Harbor Boulevard when a driver of a Dodge Charger made a turn in front of him.
Officials said the father and his two daughters, ages 9 and 11, suffered significant injuries. They were hospitalized in unknown condition. The other driver was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
