VENTURA, Calif. (KABC) -- A search is under way for a brazen armed robbery suspect in Ventura's Montalvo area.
Authorities said the suspect walked into Log Cabin Liquor at 2457 Alameda Ave. on Tuesday at about 2 p.m. and demanded that the clerk empty the cash register. Police say the suspect displayed a handgun.
The suspect fled after getting an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured in the incident.
The gunman was wearing a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, gloves and a mask to cover his face.
