SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Simi Valley police detectives arrested four suspects on May 24 for fraud following a six-week investigation into a Nigerian fraud ring, Simi Valley Police said Tuesday.

Police said known credit losses amounted to $2 million.
Detectives served a search warrant in the San Fernando Valley and one in Los Angeles near Inglewood and arrested the four suspects without incident.
Police recovered children's clothing with tags attached, about 15 iPads, most still in boxes, and more than $100,000 cash.
Mariam A. Salau, Labake Adejoke Onifade, Ajala Olasode Ajao and Eno Monday Ekong were arrested.
The suspects were booked at the Federal Detention Center in Downtown Los Angeles, where they await potential federal charges being filed by the United States Attorney's Office.
