VENTURA, Calif. (KABC) -- Ventura police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant.
The incident happened around 8:55 p.m. Wednesday on the 4600 block of Telephone Road. Investigators said the suspect was wearing a ski mask when he entered the restaurant. He went straight to the cash register, but it was locked.
When he saw the clerk, he pointed a stun-gun type of device at her and told her to open the cash register, according to officials. She complied, and he made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The store clerk was not harmed. Anyone with information about the case was urged to call the Ventura Police Department at (805) 339-4343.
