Man stabbed in Oxnard; no suspects in custody

An investigation is under way after a man was stabbed in Oxnard Sunday night.

Police said the stabbing happened around 8:21 p.m. near the intersection of Gonzales Road and Lantana Street.

The victim, only described as a 23-year-old Oxnard resident, had stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities do not have a suspect description. Anyone with information was asked to call the Violent Crimes Hotline at (805) 982-7070.
