Simi Valley Pizza Hut robbed at gunpoint

An armed robbery was reported at a Pizza Hut restaurant in Simi Valley Tuesday night.

Simi Valley police officers responded to the location at 4419 Alamo Street. An employee told officers that a suspect entered the restaurant, brandished a handgun and demanded money.

The employee complied and the suspect fled westbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was not injured.

The incident was under investigation.
