SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A 19-year-old Simi Valley man was hospitalized Sunday after being shot in the arm and abdomen.
Simi Valley police officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2600 block of Phipps Avenue at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
David Lizarraga was visiting a friend when he was confronted by one or more suspects. He was shot with gun of unknown caliber. He was hospitalized at Los Robles Hospital. Lizarraga was listed in stable condition Sunday.
Police said the shooting was gang-related.
