Pot plants removed from Santa Paula residence; resident not charged

SANTA PAULA, Calif. (KABC) -- Twenty-six marijuana plants were removed from a residence in Santa Paula Saturday, but the resident was not charged.
Santa Paula Police received a report of possible marijuana cultivation at a residence on Palm Court in Santa Paula Saturday at 11:20 a.m.
Responding officers observed marijuana plants growing in the back yard of the residence, police said.
Police say the resident was contacted and cooperated with officers. Officers seized 26 marijuana plants.
The resident was not charged with a crime. Police say the case was to be forwarded to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office for review.
