Teen arrested for Oxnard armed robberies

A 17-year-old Oxnard resident was arrested for three armed robberies committed in the city Tuesday.

Oxnard Police received reports of three separate armed robberies in the north end of the city between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. The robberies took place on the 500 Block of Carnation, Orchard Park and Princeton Avenue.

Victims were robbed of their property in two of the three incidents.

The three suspects in each robbery were described as black males in their teens, police said.

Officers detained three individuals matching the description. One of the suspects, a 17-year-old was identified as one of the robbery suspects. He was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall for robbery.

Police located property from two of the robberies nearby, as well as an Airsoft gun.
