A massive spam attack sent porn to millions of Facebook users, and an investigation is under way to find out who's behind it.

Some users reported seeing porn, while others saw violent and images of wounded animals in their newsfeeds.

Facebook says users were tricked into pasting malicious javascript into their browsers.

Experts recommend using updated browsers and not copying and pasting unknown code into the address bar.

Facebook said they are trying to determine who is responsible and working to contain the damage.
