Sparks waive point guard Zoll after knee injury

The Los Angeles Sparks have waived guard Sharnee Zoll after she tore the ACL in her left knee.

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Sparks have waived guard Sharnee Zoll after she tore the ACL in her left knee.

Zoll had been expected to help run the Sparks' backcourt before she got hurt. She averaged seven assists in two preseason games.
