Joran van der Sloot confesses to Peru murder

LIMA, Peru (KABC) -- There's new video in which Joran van der Sloot apparently admitted that he killed a young woman in his Lima, Peru hotel room.

The videotaped interrogation aired on a CNN affiliate as well as Peruvian News.

The interrogator twice asks Van der Sloot in Spanish whether he killed Stephany Tatiana Flores, to which he replied "yes."

Van der Sloot was arrested in June of last year in Flores' death, and was formally charged this month.

He was also implicated in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natallee Holloway in Aruba. That case was never solved.
