FILLMORE, Calif. (KABC) -- An accident in Fillmore left one person dead and several injured on Thursday.

Authorities responded to the two-vehicle crash on State Route 126 at Sycamore Road at about 12:50 p.m. One person was declared dead at the scene, and five others were injured.

All westbound lanes have been shut down. It is unknown how long the closure will last.
