A moderate earthquake struck the San Bernardino County area on Monday afternoon.

The 4.6-magnitude quake hit at 1:21 p.m. and was centered about 16 miles southeast of Trona near Ridgecrest.

There are no reports of any damage or injuries.

Earlier Monday, a magnitude-3.6 quake hit 10 miles south of Anza in Riverside County. On Sunday, a magnitude-4.3 quake and a smaller tremor occurred well offshore near San Nicolas Island.
