4.6-magnitude earthquake strikes Isla Vista, near Santa Barbara

ISLA VISTA, SANTA BARBARA (KABC) -- A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Isla Vista, near Santa Barbara, Wednesday morning, the USGS says.
The quake struck at 7:38 a.m. 3 miles west of Isla Vista. The temblor had a preliminary magnitude of 4.9, but was later downgraded to 4.6. Two 2.6-magnitude aftershocks were reported at 7:50 a.m. and 8:38 a.m.
Santa Barbara County Fire says there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
