The Fresno native began his broadcasting career with the station first as an intern in the summer of 2004. Within a few months, he became an official member of the Action News team as an Assignment Editor and Web Producer. In the following years, he took on the role as Action News Midday Producer, Associate Producer for Action News AM LIVE, then as fill-in Weather Anchor.
His work on AM LIVE earned him a regional Emmy Award from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2008 for Best Daytime Newscast.
Born and raised in Fresno, Reuben attended Central High School where he was involved in journalism, publications, video production and student government. He attended Fresno City College and received his Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from Fresno State in 2005.
When he's not catching up on sleep from working the morning shift or taking on weather duties in the Storm Warn 30 Center, Reuben enjoys playing golf and spending time with friends and family. He loves it when he can attend one of the many soccer games his nieces play in around the valley.
