A boy has fulfilled his lifelong wish to help the less fortunate in his community. The 10-year old, who is suffering from terminal cancer, woke up early Saturday and cooked a hearty meal for the homeless.

Keegan Keppner and his father cooked rice and beans and distributed the food at a homeless camp in Eugene, Oregon.

The camp is in danger of closing down, forcing the homeless to look for a new place to stay, so Keegan says he thought he would do a small gesture to make them happy.

"I just feel bad about for the people becoming homeless and I don't want any more of them to become homeless," said Keegan.

Keegan suffers from a tumor that affects his spine and brain. He says he plans to return to the camp again.
