KFSN-TV /ABC30, the ABC owned station in Fresno, CA, has an immediate opening for a Web Producer. The market's #1 TV News website is seeking a web producer with strong writing/editing and social media skills. Duties include rewriting TV news scripts to be used on the website, cutting video stories, posting local and national news on the ABC30.com website, and creatively promoting newscast and web stories on social media websites. Qualified candidates should have good news judgment, strong writing and editing skills, and maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of Photoshop, HTML, Dreamweaver, and digital video a plus.
GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER
ABC30 is seeking an aggressive, self-starting general assignment reporter to join our top rated news team. We are looking for a strong live, breaking news reporter who can also regularly enterprise and develop lead stories. A minimum of three years television broadcast news experience is preferred. Ability to shoot and edit your own stories a plus. Knowledge of central California also a plus. ABC30 has an opening for a news photojournalist & live truck operator. Candidates should have a minimum three years experience in all facets of television news photography including shooting, editing, lighting and audio, and show exceptional knowledge and creativity in these areas. Applicants should be able to work in the field with various reporters and be able to work under deadline situations. The ideal candidate will have experience with or be able to learn to operate a microwave and satellite truck. Please include a sample of your news related work.
DIGITAL MEDIA OPERATOR *
KFSN-TV has an immediate opening for a Digital Media Operator.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the preparation and quality control of programming and interstitial content for broadcast distribution.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years work experience in digital media operations in a broadcast station, be highly motivated, well organized, and have a knowledgeable background in video file formats, codecs, aspect ratios, audio profiles, file servers and automation systems.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check, work various shifts including early morning and late nights, weekends and holidays.
This is a Non-Union Position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
" Proficiency of modern digital video production and live and post production workflows
" Extensive experience working in file based video and knowledge of broadcast video
" Knowledge of various digital media formats, audio profiles and caption data.
" Ability to multitask and shift priorities
" Knowledge of IT, including compression, conversions and codecs
" Ability to follow a tight production schedule with multiple program recordings at a time.
" Energy, enthusiasm, and initiative
" Well organized, able to handle multiple assignments with varying deadlines
