ABC30 and Wild Waters Adventure Park have come up with a fun way to teach Valley children how to swim. Join us for the 4th annual "World's Largest Swim Lesson" as participating water parks across the world join together on Tuesday, June 18th, to conduct a simultaneous swim lesson. Here's more information about the event and how you can participate:
Event: The 4th annual "World's Largest Swim Lesson"
Date: Tuesday, June 18th at 8am.
Location: Wild Water Adventure Park on Shaw Ave, 5 miles east of Clovis.
Eligibility: Any non-swimming child under 18.
Registration: Now through Noon June 14 at www.wildwater.net/SwimSafe
Arrival: Arrive promptly at Wild Water Adventure Park between 7 & 7:15am.
Prep: Wear appropriate swimming attire, sandals/shoes & sun screen. Bring towel and a parent.
Duration: Event is expected to last an hour.
Administered: Lesson's given by certified American Red Cross Swim Instructors.
Goal: Break the world's record of 24,873 and teach Valley kids how to swim.
