Candy Cane Lane Fun with ABC30
Bring the kids and blankets and join ABC30 for a night of holiday fun at "The 68th Annual Candy Cane Lane Parade." The Central Valley's oldest nighttime parade marches down Visalia's Main Street on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. Action News anchors Graciela Moreno and Dale Yurong will guide you through every colorful float and performance while Meteorologist Kevin Musso works the parade from the ground level. ABC30's high definition cameras will capture all the holiday action for our one-hour special on the parade.
The Candy Cane Lane Parade winds down a mile-and-a-half path through Downtown Visalia with 30,000 people looking on. This year's theme is "The 12 Days of Christmas." More than 100 entries will dazzle Main Street, from the best South Valley high school bands to award-winning floats. This year's Grand Marshal is Laurie Isham, the founder of Pro-Youth in Tulare County.
You can watch ABC30's one-hour special, "The 68th Annual Candy Cane Lane Parade" with all of the best highlights on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 7 p.m. and on Christmas Day at 5 p.m. We will also post the entire parade on-line after the special airs on December 15.
KFSN-TV ABC30 is a proud sponsor of the "68th Annual Candy Cane Lane Parade," which is put on by the Downtown Visalia Alliance.
