The wings of a deconstructed Boeing 747 airplane were transported to a 55-acre property in Malibu to form a unique Wing House on the cliffs with a view of the Pacific Ocean. The design is by David Hertz Architects Inc. and was completed in May 2011. The main residence uses both main wings as well as 2 stabilizers from the tail section. The art studio building uses a 50-foot long section of the upper fuselage as a roof, while the remaining front portion of the fuselage and upper first class cabin deck was used as the roof of the guest house.
